Teresa Bravo is currently a Government Relations Representative at Tucson Electric Power/UniSource Energy Services. She represents TEP with public officials and stakeholders, providing communications, and addressing government-related issues. Prior to TEP, she was the International Program Manager in the Pima County Attractions & Tourism Department. Additionally, she was engaged in activities related to trade, border, economic development, and other special projects. In addition, she staffed the Arizona Border Counties Coalition. Prior to this role Teresa worked in the Pima County Economic Development Department engaged in business attraction and expansion activities on both sides of the United States-Mexico border.

Before joining Pima County, Teresa was the Native American Congressional Internship Program Manager at The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation. She has lived in Washington, D.C. where she worked in the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources Office of Indian Affairs and in the Office of U.S. Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva. During this time, she also served as an elected President of the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA). In addition, she has served on the El Rio Vecinos (Co-Founder), Tucson-Mexico Sister Cities, Tucson Metro Chamber Emerging Leaders Council, and the Southwest Folklife Alliance Board of Directors. Teresa also has gained valuable experience working with several local non-profit agencies in Tucson. She is a Tucson 2015 40 Under 40 Honoree and a 2023 Flinn-Brown Fellow. And a Member of the Tucson Airport Authority.

She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Mexican American Studies from The University of Arizona and an Associate’s degree in Social Services from Pima Community College. Teresa is originally from San Luis, R.C., Sonora, Mexico but has lived most of her life in Arizona with her family.
