After beginning her career as a student intern at TEP in 1994, Susan was hired as an Energy Management System Engineer in 1997 and advanced through several engineering roles.

She was promoted to Director of Design & Construction Services in 2011, and rose to Vice President of Energy Delivery in 2015. She was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2019 and began serving as President & CEO in 2020.

Susan has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s of business administration from the University of Arizona.
