Sheila Schmidt is the Chief Executive Officer of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, where she leads one of Southern Arizona’s premier commercial real estate firms. With more than two decades of experience spanning commercial construction, real estate development, business strategy, and organizational leadership, Sheila has partnered with organizations ranging from local businesses to Fortune 10 companies, helping executive teams align real estate decisions with broader organizational goals.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, she spent over eleven years in healthcare real estate strategy and development, where she advanced through multiple leadership roles before serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Real Estate Development. Before transitioning into development, she spent 13 years in commercial construction, giving her a comprehensive perspective across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate projects. She is also the founder of Kaizen Agency, a leadership and organizational advisory firm dedicated to helping professional service organizations build high-performing cultures.

Sheila earned a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University in Community Development, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University, completed Brown University’s Leadership and Performance Coaching program, and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation. She is also a certified Emotional Intelligence Facilitator and Trainer through Multi-Health Systems, and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) through the U.S. Green Building Council.
