Beyond his industry contributions, Richard is actively engaged as an angel investor with Desert Angels and has evaluated numerous life science technologies for the University of Arizona. Since relocating to Tucson in 1997, Richard has been actively involved in the community. He has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the BioIndustry Organization of Southern Arizona, the Kino School, and Amistad y Salud. These involvements reflect his commitment to giving back and making a difference locally.
