Paul Taylor is Vice President of Go To Market, Americas, within Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Sales, Services & Technology (RISST) division. Over his 25-year tenure with the company, Paul has built a distinguished career supporting the mining industry and leading across electric power, construction and mining sectors.

He began his career in manufacturing operations and progressively expanded his leadership scope to include lean practices, new product introduction (NPI), strategic planning and product development. His cross-functional expertise and customer-first mindset have been instrumental in driving business outcomes and operational excellence.

Paul has held several key leadership roles, including but not limited to Product Value Stream Manager (PVSM) for Ultra Class Large Mining Trucks, PVSM for Hydraulic Mining Shovels and Product Manager for the OEM Solutions business. In these roles, he led global teams, developed and executed growth strategies and managed a $200M end-to-end business portfolio. His success is rooted in his strong business acumen, collaborative leadership and passion for delivering customer value.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.
