Michael Kocsis serves as the Senior Director of Strategy & Communication for Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona.   He leads local health system growth initiatives, strategic plans and communication plans that support over 7,000 team members, 650 doctors, 2 hospitals, a comprehensive cancer center and 23 clinics spanning 3 counties.  He also serves as the strategic partner for Banner Health’s ambulatory division, which operates over 180 clinics in 6 states.

Prior to his joining Banner Health, Michael served as Director of Professional Relations for Radiology Ltd. in Tucson, Arizona for 15 years.  Prior to working in healthcare, he worked in media as a sportscaster and photojournalist for 12 years.  He is a graduate from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.  Michael has lived in Tucson for 27 years and has previously served as a Pima Community College Foundation board member and currently serves on the Ronald McDonald House Charities board of directors.  He and his wife Bridget have four amazing children, who make parenting so fun!
