Erik joined Tucson Electric Power as a Corporate Counsel in 2000 after earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Arizona State University and a juris doctorate from the University of Arizona. Erik was named President in 2026. In his current role, Erik oversees the direction of the Company.

He has lived in Tucson since 1979. Erik has served his community by participating in many volunteer activities and serving on various philanthropic Boards. Erik currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, on the Board of The Nature Conservancy (Arizona Chapter) and the Arizona-Mexico Commission. He enjoys hiking, fly-fishing and mountain-biking in Tucson and throughout the West.
