Dan is currently Vice President – Americas for Caterpillar’s Resource Industries division.  He has spent his career working for earthmoving equipment manufacturers, supporting the mining industry.  Dan began his career as an engineer and quickly gained increasing responsibility in commercial, product support, technical sales, account management, and product management.  He has extensive global experience as a result of having travelled to – and conducted business across – six continents and having lived in Australia for eight years.  Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a post-graduate business leadership program through Peking University BiMBA in China, India, and Singapore.
