Amber Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of Pipeline Connects, an Arizona nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every learner, employer, educator, and community has a place in building the state’s future workforce.

Through statewide collaboration and collective impact, Pipeline Connects helps align education, workforce, and industry so more Arizonans can discover opportunity and communities can thrive.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in government, economic development, business advocacy, and the nonprofit sector, Amber is known for bringing people together around shared challenges and building partnerships that create lasting impact.

Amber and her husband, Rob, a retiring Tucson Fire Captain and Navy Corpsman veteran, have three sons, including one serving in the U.S. Navy.
