For over two decades, Amber has dedicated herself to serving the Tucson community in a multitude of impactful roles, commencing her career alongside the esteemed late Senator John McCain. With a steadfast commitment to purpose-driven leadership, she has navigated various industries and functions, encompassing government affairs to executive-level positions, all while fostering the growth and fortification of businesses. During her tenure as President and CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber, Amber spearheaded a transformative journey for the organization, leading it through the challenges of the pandemic with remarkable resilience, leaving the Chamber in the most stable financial condition in decades. Following her passion for workforce development, she transitioned to Futures Inc as Chief Strategy Officer. Recognized by the U.S. government for successfully implementing the largest workforce solution, Futures works to eliminate the most significant barriers to rewarding careers-awareness and access. Amber’s commitment to community extends beyond her professional endeavors, and presently, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Pima Foundation Board and as a Board Member on Higher Ground. She remains a passionate member of the DM50 supporting our Airmen and is a founding member of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance.

A Wildcat, she graduated from the University of Arizona, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from Eller College.  #beardown.

Married to a fourth-generation Tucsonan, Amber’s husband Robert is a Tucson Fire Captain and Navy veteran. Amber and Robert have three boys, five goats, three dogs, some ducks, and Pierre, the lone rooster. Amber’s favorite moments are on the sidelines of her kid’s sporting events or on an adventure somewhere with her family- preferably where there is a body of water, mountains, and great local food.
