This community-wide effort renews and expands Southern Arizona’s investment in safe, efficient, and reliable transportation. RTA Next builds on the success of the original Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), approved by voters in 2006.

Developed through years of collaboration among local jurisdictions, community leaders, and residents across Pima County, RTA Next prioritizes congestion relief, roadway safety, transit improvements, bike and pedestrian connections, and infrastructure that strengthens our economy and quality of life.
